Vor kurzem veröffentlichte die deutsche Metal- Band Rammstein einen brandneuen Remix. Der walisische Sänger, Multi-Instrumentalist und Produzent Jayce Lewis steuerte einen selbstkomponierten Remix zu dem Rammstein Song ‚Armee der Tristen‘ aus deren Album ‚Zeit‘ bei. Somit interpretierte er den Track quasi vollkommen neu. Der Gesang von Till Lindemann blieb im Original. Zu einigen Mitgliedern aus der Band verbindet Jayce Lewis eine enge Freundschaft. Jayce Lewis veriet mir in unserem Interview in 2019, anlässlich seines 10-jährigen Solo-Artist-Jubiläums, wie er Rammstein kennenlernte: ,,Ich traf sie bei Sonisphere, ich spielte die Show und sie ebenfalls, und ich und Schneider wurden sofort Freunde. Wir blieben in Kontakt, tauschten E-Mails und Telefonnummern aus. Und ja, weißt du… er ist ein toller Typ, ein wirklich sehr sympathischer Typ. Ich habe viel Zeit mit Christoph verbracht und mit Flake gechillt. Sie sind eine tolle Band und talentierte Musiker.“ Jayce Lewis arbeitet derzeit an seinem neuen Album. Bis dahin kann ich euch seine Vorgänger-Alben Jayce Lewis, Nemesis, Million Part 1 und Part 2 wärmstens ans Herz legen. Was sein neuestes Album mit im Gepäck haben wird, da dürfen wir alle drauf gespannt sein. Solltet ihr meine vorherigen zwei Interviews und meine Rezension über sein letztes Album ‚Million Part 2‘ noch nicht kennen, verlinke ich euch diese gerne unter dieser Review. Wer nun aber schon ganz neugierig auf den Remix ist, der eine Mischung aus Industrial, Dance und Electronica ist, der wird hier nicht enttäuscht.

Recently, the German metal band Rammstein released a brand new remix. Welsh singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer Jayce Lewis contributed a self-composed remix to the Rammstein song ‚Armee der Tristen‘ from their album ‚Zeit‘. He virtually reinterpreted the track in a completely new way. Till Lindemann’s vocals remained in the original. Jayce Lewis has a close friendship with some members of the band. Jayce Lewis revealed to me in our interview in 2019, on the occasion of his 10th solo artist anniversary, how he met Rammstein: „I met them at Sonisphere, I played the show and they were playing as well, and me and Schneider just became friends. We stayed in touch, exchanged emails and phone numbers. And yeah…you know… he is a great guy, a really really lovely guy. I got a lot of time to Christoph and chill with Flake. They are an amazing band and talented musicians.“ Jayce Lewis is currently working on his new album. Until then, I highly recommend his previous albums Jayce Lewis, Nemesis, Million Part 1 and Part 2. What his newest album will contain we can all look forward to. If you don’t know my previous two interviews and my review of his last album ‚Million Part 2‘, I’ll gladly link them to you under this review. But if you are already curious about the remix, which is a mixture of industrial, dance and electronica, you won’t be disappointed here.
