Die neue Vorstellan Single All Hope Has Gone hat es wahrhaftig in sich. All Hope Has Gone ist vermutlich der härteste Track, neben Riot, den die Band jemals gemacht hat. (Anmerkung: Riot befindet sich auf der EP Memory Files: Volume 1) Ab Sekunde 0:19 ertönt eine massive Killer-Bassdrum (Matty Donaldson). Frontmann Jacob Knight hatte mir verraten, dass Vorstellan sich bei All Hope Has Gone von Slipknot haben inspirieren lassen. Zudem hatten sich die Fans etwas härtere Musik gewünscht und Vorstellan wollten ihnen diese selbstverständlich auch liefern. Was Ihnen mit Bravour gelungen ist. Harte Gitarrenriffs komplementieren das Ganze. Jacob Knights Gesang klingt zudem rauer und impulsiver. Beim Debütalbum Encephalon war man von ihm eine eher zerbrechliche und feine Gesangstimme gewohnt. Wobei ich der Meinung bin, diese zerbrechlich klingende Stimme sollte er auch nicht verlieren, da es sein Markenzeichen ist und einen hohen Wiedererkennungswert mit sich bringt. Im Lied selbst macht sich Untergangsstimmung bemerkbar. Es ist aber nicht zu hoffen, dass dies auch auf die Band zutrifft, denn Vorstellan machen derzeit aus privaten Gründen eine Pause. Es ist zu wünschen auch in Zukunft noch viel von dieser großartigen Band aus Großbritannien zu hören. All Hope Has Gone wird ab dem 1. September 2023 auf allen gängigen digitalen Plattformen erhältlich sein.

The new Vorstellan single All Hope Has Gone really packs a punch. All Hope Has Gone is probably the heaviest track the band has ever done besides Riot. (Note: Riot is on the EP Memory Files: Volume 1) From second 0:19 a massive killer bass drum is heard (Matty Donaldson). Frontman Jacob Knight revealed to me that Vorstellan were inspired by Slipknot for All Hope Has Gone. The fans had also asked for heavier music and Vorstellan wanted to deliver it. And they succeeded with flying colours. Hard guitar riffs complement it all. Jacob Knight’s vocals also sound rougher and more impulsive. On the debut album Encephalon we were used to a rather fragile and fine voice from him. In my opinion, he should not lose this fragile sounding voice, as it is his signature and has a high recognition value. In the song itself, a mood of doom is noticeable. But it is not to be hoped that this also applies to the band, because Vorstellan are currently taking a break for private reasons. We hope to hear a lot more from this great band from Great Britain in the future. All Hope Has Gone will be available on all major digital platforms from September 1 ^st 2023.
